Quick Mix Carrot Cake
|Yellow cake mix/Spice cake mix||200 Gram (1 Package)|
|Cinnamon||1 Teaspoon (For Yellow Cake Mix Only)|
|Nutmeg||1 Teaspoon (For Yellow Cake Mix Only)|
|Allspice||1⁄2 Teaspoon (For Yellow Cake Mix Only)|
|Sour cream||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Carrots||1 Cup (16 tbs), grated|
|Seedless raisins||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chopped walnuts/Pecans||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Grated lemon peel/Orange peel||1 Teaspoon|
To the dry yellow cake mix, add cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice.
Prepare either cake mix by package directions replacing 1/4 cup of liquid with 1/3 cup sour cream.
Blend into mixed batter the grated carrots, raisins, nuts, and lemon or orange peel.
Spread batter evenly in a greased and floured sheet cake pan (13 x 9 x 2 inches).
Bake 40 minutes to 1 hour, or until pick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool in pan.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar or spread with your favorite frosting.
