Barbecue Chicken Drumsticks

  Chopped onion 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Chopped celery 2 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Dry mustard 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Worcestershire sauce 1 Teaspoon
  Cider vinegar 1 Tablespoon
  Liquid smoke flavoring 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Catsup 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Water 2 Tablespoon
  Chicken drumsticks 8 , skin removed

Combine all ingredients except drumsticks in 4-cup measure.
Cover with wax paper.
Microwave at High 3 minutes, or until hot, stirring once.
Reduce power to 50% (Medium).
Microwave 13 to 19 minutes, or until vegetables are tender and flavors are blended, stirring every 2 or 3 minutes.
Arrange drumsticks on roasting rack with meatiest portions to outside.
Brush with one-third of sauce.
Cover with wax paper.
Increase power to High.
Microwave 7 minutes.
Turn over and rearrange legs; brush with one-third of sauce; cover.
Microwave at High 4 minutes.
Brush with remaining sauce; cover.
Microwave 1 to 4 minutes, or until meat is no longer pink and sauce is hot.
