Candied Sweet Potatoes
|Sweet potatoes||6 Medium|
|Water||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs), firmly packed|
1. Heat oven to 400°F.
2. Cook sweet potatoes.
3. Combine water, sugar, and butter and bring to a boil.
4. Peel sweet potatoes and cut in slices. Place in a buttered baking dish. Pour syrup over the top.
5. Bake 20 minutes, basting with syrup occasionally.
