Baked Potato Starter
|Even sized potatoes||500 Gram|
|Sour cream||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Chives||1⁄4 Bunch (25 gm) (1 Small Bunch)|
|Black lumpfish roe||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
For each person, scrub one potato.
Put the potato on a board, and using a small sharp knife push the knife deep into the potato in 4 places.
Bake in a moderately hot oven (Gas No. 5 - 375°F - 190°C) for 1-1 1/2 hours.
To test when the potato is cooked through, hold it in an oven glove and press gently - it should be soft.
Put the potato on a warm plate and cut a cross on the top with a small sharp knife.
Fill with a tablespoonful of sour cream and using scissors snip a few chives over the cream.
Add a tablespoonful of lumpfish roe and serve straightaway with quarters of lemon.
