|Okra pods||1⁄2 Pound|
|French dressing||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Boiling water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
1. Wash the okra, cut off tops and boil in the water with salt 6 to 8 minutes, or until the okra is tender. Drain and rinse in hot water.
2. Chill in the refrigerator.
3. To serve, pour French Dressing over the okra and leave 10 minutes or longer. Serve on crisp lettuce, with a few capers sprinkled over each serving. A green onion or 2 may be added to each salad.
