Glazed Ham Steak And Sweet Potato Platter

Ingredients
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Maple flavored syrup 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Ground cinnamon 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ground mace 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ham steaks 1 Pound (1 Package, 8 Shaped Ones)
  Canned whole kernel corn 16 Ounce, drained (1 Can)
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Canned sweet potatoes 17 Ounce (1 Can Whole Ones, 1 Pound And 1 Ounce)
Directions

1. Melt butter or margarine in a large skillet; add syrup, cinnamon and mace. Cook over low heat, stirring until bubbly.
2. Add ham steaks, a few at a time, to mixture in skillet. Cook, turning once and basting, until heated through. Remove to a heated serving platter and keep warm while cooking other steaks.
3. Heat corn with additional butter or margarine, if you wish; spoon onto platter.
4. Add potatoes to skillet and cook until heated through and glazed. Place on serving platter with ham and corn. Spoon glaze over ham and potatoes.
