Matar Mushroom (Peas & Mushroom with Curry)

Matar Mushroom is quite simple to make and can be made with frozen or fresh peas
Ingredients
  Tomato puree 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Red chili powder 1 Tablespoon
  Coriander powder 1 Tablespoon
  Turmeric powder 1 Teaspoon
  Garam masala powder 1 Teaspoon
  Cashewnut 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Green peas 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Mushrooms 200 Gram
  Green cardamom 1
  Cinnamon 1 Inch
  Onions 1
  Ginger paste 1 Tablespoon
  Garlic paste 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Clean, wash & cut the mushrooms into medium pieces and peel & chop the onions finely.
Sauté green cardamoms, cinnamon stick & chopped onions in oil until golden brown in colour.
Then add the ginger garlic paste and cook for ½ a minute.
Add tomato puree, red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, salt & cook till the oil leaves the masala.
Lastly add the cashewnut paste dissolved in 1 cup of water and stir well.
Add 1 cup of water, bring it to a boil, then add the green peas & mushrooms.
Cook on a high flame for seven to eight minutes or till the green peas are fully cooked.
Once done, serve hot with rice or roti.
