Candied Sweet Potatoes
|Sweet potatoes||4 Medium (3 large ones)|
|Melted butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Water||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
Cut peeled potatoes into 2-inch slices.
Combine the butter, sugar, and water in an electric skillet. Add the sweet potatoes. Cover and simmer at 250° for 1 hour or until done, turning frequently.
