Sweet Potato Pie

Ingredients
  Pie dough 1 (Single Crust)
  Mashed sweet potatoes 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Eggs 4
  Melted butter 2 Tablespoon
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Cream 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Chopped walnuts 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Plus 4 Walnut Halves For Garnish)
  Walnut halves 4 (For Garnish)
  Apricot preserves 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ginger 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cloves 1⁄8 Teaspoon
Directions

1. Prebake the pie shell according to package directions, or by lining the shell with waxed paper, filling it with dried beans or pie beads, and baking until golden, 10-15 minutes.
2. Heat oven to 350°. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the mashed sweet potatoes, eggs, melted butter, sugar, cream, chopped walnuts, apricot preserves, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves. Pour into the prebaked pie shell.
3. Bake 30 minutes. Arrange the 4 walnut halves on top, and bake 10 minutes more. Cool before slicing.
