|Potato||1 Large, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces|
|Parsnip||1 Medium, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces|
|Carrot||1 Medium, cut into 1/2-inch slices|
|Brown sugar||1 Teaspoon|
Place potato, parsnip and carrot in a saucepan; cover with water.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; cover and cook for 20-25 minutes or until tender.
In asmall bowl, mash the vegetables with milk, butter, brown sugar and salt.
