|Basmati rice||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Chopped beans||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Fresh green peas/Frozen green peas||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Coriander leaves||4 (handful of)|
|Coriander seeds||1 Teaspoon|
|Fresh coconut/Frozen coconut||1 Tablespoon|
|Clarified butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (ghee)|
|Water||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
First wash the rice and soak in water for 1/2 an hour.
Dice and cook the vegetables.
Heat a tsp of ghee and fry cloves, green cardamon and cinnamon for a while. Now add coriander seeds and cashew and saute for a while. Now add the green chillies, chopped garlic, chopped gineger,coriander leaves and coconut. Fry for about one minute.
Now grind it to a paste using app. 1/2 cup of water. Now heat ghee in a vessel and fry the onions till golden brown.
Now add the cooked vegetable, ground paste and remaining water. Add salt to taste.
When it comes to a boil add the rice and lower the flame. Cook till all the water evaporates.
Serve hot with raita or any other curry.
