Chinatown Special Vegetables

Ingredients
  Onion 1 Medium, sliced
  Water 3 Tablespoon
  Frozen vegetables 10 Ounce (1 Package, San Francisco-Style Combination)
  Soy sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Spinach 10 Ounce, washed and trimmed (1 Package, Fresh, Not Frozen)
Directions

1 Combine onion slices and water in a large saucepan; bring to boiling; cover saucepan; simmer 3 minutes.
2 Remove packet of topping from frozen vegetables. Pour frozen vegetables into saucepan; bring to full boil; separate vegetables with a fork as they begin to thaw.
3 Lower heat; cover saucepan; simmer 2 minutes; add soy sauce and spinach; stir to blend well; cover saucepan.
4 Simmer 3 minutes longer, or until vegetables are crisply tender; spoon into a heated vegetable dish; sprinkle with topping from packet.
