Candied Sweet Potatoes With Apple

Ingredients
  Sweet potatoes 16 Ounce (2 Medium, 8 Ounce Each)
  Apple 1 Medium
  Brown sugar 2 Tablespoon
  Butter sprinkles 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Apple juice/Orange juice 1 Tablespoon
Directions

In a medium covered saucepan cook the sweet potatoes in enough boiling water to cover the potatoes for 25 to 35 minutes or till tender.
Drain; cool slightly.
Peel the potatoes and cut into 1/2-inch-thick slices.
Set aside.
Core the apple and thinly slice into 1/8-inch-thick rings.
Cut the apple rings in half crosswise.
Place apple slices in a 1-quart casserole.
Place sweet potato slices atop apple slices.
Sprinkle with the brown sugar and butter-flavored sprinkles.
Drizzle with the apple or orange juice.
Bake, covered in a 350° oven for 25 to 30 minutes or till heated through.
Stir gently to serve, spooning juices over potato and apple slices.
