|Parsnips||1 Pound (About 6 Medium Sized)|
|Brown sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Cider vinegar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Frozen orange juice concentrate||3 Tablespoon|
|Wheat germ||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1. Pare the parsnips and cut into sticks of even thickness. Cook in boiling salted water until barely tender, about 10 minutes.
2. In a medium-sized skillet melt the butter and add the sugar, salt, vinegar, and orange juice concentrate. Bring to a boil. Add the parsnips and cook over high heat, spooning the liquid over the parsnips to glaze. Sprinkle with wheat germ.
