Spiced Glazed Sweet Potatoes
|Sweet potatoes||1 Can (10 oz) (1 lb. 13 oz)|
|Fresh orange juice||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|White sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Dip sweet potatoes in orange juice, then roll in a mixture of flour, 1/2 CUP white sugar and nutmeg.
Place in greased casserole.
Combine 1/2 cup white sugar, water, brown sugar and butter, and bring to a boil.
Pour over the potatoes.
Add remaining orange juice and bake for 30 minutes at 350°.
