Sweet Potato Dessert Squares

Ingredients
  Yellow cake mix 18 1⁄4 Ounce (1 Package, Divided)
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), melted
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Mashed sweet potatoes 3 Cup (48 tbs) (Cold)
  Milk 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Packed brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Eggs 2 , beaten
  Pumpkin pie spice 1 Tablespoon
  Butter/Margarine 6 Tablespoon
  Chopped pecans 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Ground cinnamon 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Set aside 1 cup of the cake mix.
Combine remaining mix with butter and egg; spread into a greased 13-in.x 9-in.x 2-in.baking pan.
Whisk filling ingredients until smooth; pour over crust.
For topping, cut butter into the reserved cake mix until crumbly.
Stir in pecans, sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over the filling.
Bake at 350° for 60-65 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
Cool.
Garnish with whipped cream and pecan halves if desired.
