Ingredients
  Onion 2 Cup (32 tbs), chopped
  Minced leeks 1 Cup (16 tbs) (White And Some Green)
  Chopped celery 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Chopped turnip/Rutabaga 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Shredded cabbage 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter 3 Tablespoon
  Water 7 Cup (112 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Black peppercorns 3 , crushed
  Thyme sprig 2
  Parsley sprigs 6
  Minced basil 2 Tablespoon
  Herbs 1 Tablespoon, minced
Directions

Saute vegetables in butter 10 minutes.
Add water and seasonings, cover, bring to boil, lower heat and simmer 2 hours.
Strain, adjust seasonings to taste and serve hot or cold garnished with fresh herbs.
