Old Fashioned Mixed Vegetables is my go-to recipe when I host a party or get together at home. I have been making this Old Fashioned Mixed Vegetables dish since the late 90's. You will be searching for a 10 to rate me on this dish!
  Carrots 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), diced (125 ml)
  Turnip 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), diced (125 ml)
  Butter 1 Tablespoon (15 ml)
  Onion 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), finley sliced (60 ml)
  Canned green peas 12 Ounce (341 ml)
  Honey 10 Milliliter (2 tsp)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste

–  In a saucepan filled with lightly salted boiling water, blanch carrots and turnip for 5 minutes, then drain and set aside.
–  In a skillet, melt butter and saute onion, then add carrots and turnip. Add green peas, season with salt and pepper and pour honey over mixture.
