Hot Sweet Potatoes
|Sweet potatoes||16 Ounce (Four Small 4 Ounce Each)|
|Margarine/Unsalted butter||2 Tablespoon, softened|
|Tabasco pepper sauce||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dried savory leaves||1⁄4 Teaspoon, crushed|
In large saucepan cover potatoes with water.
Cover and cook over high heat 20 to 25 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
Drain potatoes and cut in half lengthwise.
In small bowl, combine margarine and TABASCO sauce.
Spread 3/4 teaspoon margarine mixture over cut side of each potato half.
Season each with pinch of savory.
Place on foil-lined broiler pan and broil, watching carefully, about 5 minutes or until lightly browned.
