Brandied Sweet Potatoes
|Sweet potatoes||6 Medium|
|Butter||80 Milliliter (1/3 Cup)|
|Dark brown sugar||60 Milliliter (4 Tablespoon)|
|Salt||1⁄2 Teaspoon (2 Milliliter)|
|Brandy||15 Milliliter (1 Tablespoon)|
|Nutmeg/Allspice||1⁄4 Teaspoon (1 Milliliter)|
€¢ Wash oranges, cut in half.
€¢ Squeeze the juice and reserve.
€¢ Clean the inside of the shells if to be used, and rub each one inside with soft butter.
€¢ Microwave the sweet potatoes, as for sweet potatoes Nature.
€¢ When done, cut in half. Remove pulp from shell with a spoon.
€¢ Add all the remaining ingredients and as much orange juice as needed to have a creamy texture.
€¢ Stir until well blended.
€¢ Place in a microwave-safe dish or in the buttered orange shells.
€¢ When ready to serve, place the dish or the orange shells in a circle on the oven tray.
€¢ Microwave 6 minutes at MEDIUM.
