Glazed Ham With Sweet Potatoes

  Vacuum pack sweet potatoes/Two medium sweet potatoes, peeled and sliced 18 Ounce, drained (1 Can)
  Pearl onions/12 frozen small whole onions/3 medium onions 12 , cut into wedges
  Orange juice 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Honey 2 Tablespoon
  Cold water 1 Tablespoon
  Cornstarch 2 Teaspoon
  Shredded orange peel 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground allspice 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cooked ham slice 3⁄4 Pound, trimmed of separable fat

In a large skillet combine fresh sweet potatoes, if using, onions, and orange juice.
Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or till vegetables are just tender.
Stir together honey, water, cornstarch, orange peel, and allspice; add to skillet.
Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly.
Add canned sweet potatoes, if using, to skillet.
Carefully lay ham slice over vegetables in skillet.
Cover and simmer for 5 minutes or till ham is heated through.
Place ham on platter; spoon vegetables and sauce over ham.
