Ham And Mushroom Stuffing For Cabbage Leaves
|Green cabbage head||1 Large|
|Chopped mushrooms||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Cooked ham||2 Cup (32 tbs), cut into cubes|
|Chopped chives||2 Tablespoon|
|Cooked rice||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Black pepper||To Taste|
|Chicken broth/Beef broth||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
1. Prepare the cabbage for stuffing . Preheat oven to moderate (350° F.).
2. In a saucepan heat the butter, add the mushrooms and saute until wilted.
3. Combine with the remaining ingredients except the chicken broth and stuff the cabbage leaves.
4. Arrange the stuffed leaves in a casserole, add the broth, cover and bake one hour. If necessary, add more liquid.
