Ham And Potato Cakes
|Mashed potatoes||1 Pound|
|Gruyere cheese slices||4|
|Chopped parsley||1 Tablespoon|
Add seasoning and little chopped parsley to the mashed potatoes.
If the mixture is dry, then add a little milk and margarine to moisten.
Form into 4 large flat cakes, put a little fat on each and brown in a moderately hot oven (400 °F. gas Mark 5).
Top with a slice of ham and cheese and return to the oven until the cheese is beginning to melt.
Decorate with parsley and serve with baked tomatoes.
