Ingredients
  Onion 1 Tablespoon, chopped
  Shortening 2 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
Directions

1. Saute the onion in the shortening until it begins to brown.
2. Add the collards and salt and cook over low heat, stirring frequently, until the collards are tender, or about fifteen minutes.
