Salata is a lebanese salad made with mixed veggies. This salata recipe is a fresh and light vegetable salad made with olives and watercress. Dressed with olive oil, this fresh salad in one of my best loved salads because of its simplicity.
Ingredients
  Shredded lettuce 6 Cup (96 tbs)
  Tomatoes 3 , peeled and chopped
  Unpared cucumber 1 Large, chopped
  Watercress 1 Bunch (100 gm), chopped
  Green pepper 1 Medium, chopped
  Green onions 4 , finely chopped
  Sliced pitted olives 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Use Greek Or Ripe Variety)
  Lemon juice 3 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Olive oil/Salad oil 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
Directions

Combine first 6 ingredients.
Add olives, lemon juice, and salt; toss.
Mound salad on platter.
Garnish with additional tomato wedges, cucumber slices, and olives, if desired.
Pour oil over all.
Let stand 15 minutes to blend flavors.
