Nutty Carrot Cake

|Butter||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Eggs||3 , beaten|
|Carrots||2 Cup (32 tbs), shredded|
|Flour||2 1⁄2 Cup (40 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Baking soda||3⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Nuts||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Cream sugar with butter or margarine.
Add eggs, grated carrots and vanilla.
Add dry ingredients alternately with milk; add nuts.
Bake 45 minutes at 350° in 9x13 pan.
May be frosted with light chocolate frosting.
