Veal Florentine (Vitello Alla Fiorentina)

Ingredients
  Veal steak 1 Kilogram, cubed (2 Pound)
  Onion 1 , sliced
  Olive oil 62 1⁄2 Milliliter (0.25 Cup)
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), crushed
  Tomatoes 250 Gram, peeled (0.5 Pound)
  Rosemary 1 Pinch
  Dry white wine 62 1⁄2 Milliliter (0.25 Cup)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Saute the onion in the oil for about two minutes.
Add garlic and cook for another minute.
Add meat and brown well on all sides.
Add tomatoes, rosemary, wine and salt and pepper to taste.
Cover and cook over a low heat for about 30 minutes or until meat is tender.
Stir occasionally.
