Veal boneless rump
4 Pound (or sirloin roast)
1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Place meat fat side up on rack in open shallow roasting pan.
Season with salt and pepper.
If roast has little or no fat, place 2 or 3 slices bacon on top.
Insert meat thermometer so tip is in center of thickest part of meat.
Do not add water.
Do not cover.
Roast in 325Â° oven 21/2 to 3 hours or until thermometer registers 170Â°.
During last hour of baking, baste often with mixture of soy sauce and garlic powder.
