Veal Florentine Style
|Onion||1 Small, sliced|
|Olive oil||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Veal rump||2 Pound, cubed|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm)|
|Tomato puree||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Tomato puree||1 Cup (16 tbs), canned|
|Sambuca di galliano||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1) In a skillet, saute the onion in the oil for 2 minutes.
2) Stir in the garlic and saute for another 1 minute until brown.
3) Stir in rest of the ingredients, cover and cook over a low heat for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the meat is tender.
4) Serve immediately on individual serving plates.
