Milanese Calf Liver
|Grated parmesan cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Oil||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|White pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Dried marjoram||1 Pinch|
|Calves liver slices||4|
|All purpose flour||4 Tablespoon|
Cook the macaroni in plenty of boiling salted water for 12-15 minutes.
Drain, and while hot mix in the butter and cheese.
Place on a serving dish and keep warm.
Heat the oil in a frying pan.
Rub a mixture of salt, pepper and marjoram into the liver and then coat in the flour.
Fry the liver slices in the hot oil for a total of 5 minutes.
Place the fried liver slices on the macaroni.
Serve with a tomato sauce.
