Braised Veal Chops
|Rib/Veal chops||4 (Cutlets / Steaks, Cut 1-Inch Thick)|
|Butter/Margarine / shortening||4 Tablespoon|
1. Wipe the chops with a clean, damp cloth.
2. Have half the margarine, butter or shortening bubbling in a large frying pan. Put the chops in and brown them on one side. Add the rest of the fat, turn them and brown on the other side. Sprinkle with salt.
3. Lower the heat and continue to cook, 15 or 20 minutes longer. Turn the chops several times and add 1 tablespoon or more of hot water if the chops seem dry.
