Veal Strips With Mushrooms
|Flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Veal||2 Pound, cut into strips|
|Carrots||2 , sliced into rounds|
|Celery stalks||2 , sliced|
|Cut green beans||1 Can (10 oz), drained|
|Soy sauce||3 Tablespoon|
|Beef broth||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
Preheat oven to 350 °F (175 °C).
Set aside 1 tbsp (15 mL) flour for sauce.
Dredge veal strips with remainder.
In a frying pan, melt butter.
Sear veal strips all over.
Remove from skillet.
Transfer to a covered ovenproof dish.
Sprinkle veal cooking fat with reserved flour, mixing well.
Add vegetables, soy sauce and broth.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Mix once more.
Pour sauce over veal strips.
Cook in oven 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
If needed, add 1/2 cup (125 mL) broth during cooking.
