Tasty Veal Chops
|Veal loin chops||6 , about 0.75 inch thick|
|Dry sherry||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Soy sauce||2 Tablespoon|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Canned sliced mushrooms||4 Ounce, drained|
|Canned sliced water chestnuts||8 Ounce, drained|
Place chops in 3 quart casserole.
Combine 1/4 cup water, sherry, soy sauce, marjoram and pepper; pour over chops.
Cover and let stand at room temperature 1 hour; turn once.
Microwave at medium high (7) 18 to 21 minutes until tender; turn over after 10 minutes.
Remove chops to warm platter.
Combine 1/2 cup water and cornstarch; stir until smooth.
Add to cooking liquid.
Microwave at high (10) 3 to 4 minutes, until thickened, stirring every minute.
Add mushrooms and water chestnuts.
Microwave at high (10) 2 to 3 minutes until hot.
Spoon sauce over chops.
TO COOK BY COMBINATION: Insert metal acces sory rack.
Cook on Combination Code 3, 27 to 30 minutes.
