|Corn syrup||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|

1.Cook the ingredients, except the vanilla, to the stiff-ball stage, or 246Â° F.
2.Remove from the fire, add the vanilla and pour into a buttered pan.
3.When it is cold, turn it out of the pan and cut it into squares.
4.Serve with ice cream
