Turnip Patties

These Turnip Patties are surely going to woo you to a fabulous meal ! Just eat them hot with a savory dip in the beginning of a course to experience what I mean ! So what do you think about these crisp brown Turnip Patties ?
Ingredients
  Chopped turnips 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Rice flour 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Bacon slices 4
  Mushrooms 8 , chopped
  Shrimps 4 , minced
  Scallions 3 , chopped
  Chopped parsley 2 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Water 2 Tablespoon
  Oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Frying)
Directions

Boil the turnips for about 20 minutes or until tender.
Drain well and put through a blender.
Combine the rice flour, bacon, mush rooms, shrimps, scallions, parsley, salt and pepper and mix with the turnips.
Put in a square pan about 1 inch deep and steam for 1 1/2 hours.
Remove from the steamer and let cool.
Cut loaf into 1 inch cubes and dip into the egg beaten with water.
Heat a pan with 1 inch of oil and when it is very hot, fry the turnip cubes in this till it is well browned on all sides.
Serve very hot as an appetizer.
Will make about 25 cubes.
This may also be served sauteed with plain oil and no egg batter, or hot and fresh, without sauteeing, just as it comes from the pan.
