Pickled Turnips

Ingredients
  White turnips 10 Small
  Beets 2
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Vinegar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 2 Teaspoon
  Garlic 6 Clove (30 gm)
Directions

Wash and peel turnips and beets.
Cut turnips as though to make 1/4-inch slices but leave attached at one end of each turnip.
Soak in water overnight.
Wash, and place in jar or jars with all other ingredients for at least 3 days.
These lightly pickled rose-colored turnips are very popular as meza other popular pickles include cucumber, dill, and almost any vegetable of the many other dishes appropriate for meza, it may be sufficient to mention black olives, often dressed with oil and garlic, asparagus and artichokes in oil or vinaigrette, smoked fish, and small stuffed tomatoes, peppers, onions, and eggplant.
