Roasted White Turnips
|White turnips||3 Large|
|Breadcrumbs||125 Milliliter (1/2 Cup)|
|Egg||1 , beaten|
|Butter||60 Milliliter (1/4 Cup)|
– In a saucepan filled with lightly salted boiling water, cook turnips until tender, then drain, slice and set aside.
– In a bowl combine breadcrumbs, salt and pepper. Dip each turnip slice into beaten egg, then into seasoned breadcrumbs and set aside.
– In a skillet, melt butter and cook turnips until golden. Place in a serving dish, decorate with parsley sprigs and serve.
