Kitchener Rutabaga Scallop

Ingredients
  Cooked rutabaga slices 2 Cup (32 tbs) (yellow turnip)
  Tart apple slices 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Butter 4 Tablespoon
  Water 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Arrange half of the rutabaga slices in a greased 1-quart casserole.
Add half of apple slices, brown sugar, and salt; dot with half of butter.
Repeat and add water.
Cover casserole.
Bake at 350°F 30 minutes.
