Smothered Turkey

Ingredients
  Garlic 7 Clove (35 gm), peeled
  Black pepper 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Oregano 5 Teaspoon
  Salt 10 Teaspoon
  Vinegar 2 Tablespoon
  Turkey 8 1⁄2 Pound, cut into serving pieces (1 whole)
  Dried prunes 12 , pitted
  White onions 10 Small, peeled
  Bay leaves 4
  Green olives 12 , pitted
  Capers 2 Tablespoon
  Capers liquid 1 Tablespoon
  Water 2 Cup (32 tbs) (adjust quantity as needed)
  White wine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
Directions

Grind garlic, pepper, oregano, and salt together; add vinegar rub turkey pieces with mixture.
Place in deep kettle; add prunes, onions, bay leaves, olives, capers, and caper liquid to turkey; cover.
Chill for 8 hours; add water to half; cover.
Bring to a boil.
Cover.
Reduce heat and simmer for 2 hours; add wine and sugar.
Cover.
Simmer for 1 hour.
