Pile o' bones is the English meaning of the Cree word Wascana, which was the original name of the city of Regina, the provincial capital.
Pile o' bones is also what is left when you serve meaty, broad breasted Saskatchewan turkey.
Traditional accompaniments to roast turkey are mashed potatoes, mashed turnips, new or frozen green peas, and cranberry sauce or jelly.
