Skillet Simmered Turkey Thighs
|Condensed chicken broth||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Chopped fresh mushrooms||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Instant minced onion||3 Tablespoon|
|White table wine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Salt||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dry mustard||1 Teaspoon|
Brown turkey thighs in a heavy skillet in oil and butter.
Combine broth, mushrooms, onion, wine, salt, mustard, paprika, basil, sage and pepper; pour over turkey and heat to a boil.
Lower heat; cover and simmer about 1 3/4 hours, until meat is tender.
Remove turkey to a serving dish and keep hot; skim off any fat from cooking liquid.
Mix cornstarch with water; stir into liquid in pan.
Cook, stirring, until sauce boils and thickens; serve over turkey.
