Crusty Oven fried Turkey Parts
|Turkey parts||4 Pound (Drumsticks / Thighs / Wings, Each Piece About 1 Pound)|
|All purpose flour||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Seasoned croutons||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), melted|
Rinse turkey; pat dry.
In a bag, combine flour, paprika, and pepper.
Beat eggs and milk in a 9-inch pie pan; mix croutons and cheese on a rimmed plate.
Shake turkey pieces, one at a time, in seasoned flour; then dip in egg mixture, spooning it over turkey to coat well, if necessary.
Drain briefly and roll in crouton mixture to coat evenly.
Place on an ungreased 10 by 15-inch rimmed baking pan.
Sprinkle any remaining crouton mixture over turkey pieces.
Cover tightly with foil.
Bake in a 350° oven for 1 1/4 hours.
Remove foil and drizzle turkey with butter.
Continue to bake, uncovered, until meat near bone is no longer pink when slashed and coating is crisp (20 to 30 more minutes).
