Sweet And Sour Turkey

|Cooking oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Turkey breast tenderloin steaks/Boned skinless chicken breast halves||8 Ounce, cut into bite-size strips|
|Frozen crinkle cut carrots||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Low calorie apple pie filling||19 1⁄2 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Soy sauce||2 Tablespoon|
|Instant chicken bouillon granules||1 Teaspoon|
|Ground ginger||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Frozen pea pods||6 Ounce (1 Package)|
Cook rice on the range-top according to package directions.
Meanwhile, preheat a 10-inch microwave browning dish on 100% power (high) for 5 minutes.
Add oil to browning dish, swirling to coat dish.
Add turkey or chicken strips.
Micro-cook, uncovered, on high for 2 to 3 minutes or till tender, stirring once.
Remove turkey or chicken with a slotted spoon and set aside, reserving juices in browning dish.
Add carrots to browning dish and cook, covered, on high for 4 to 5 minutes or till crisp-tender, stirring once.
Meanwhile, for sauce, in a medium mixing bowl stir together pie filling, vinegar, soy sauce, bouillon granules, and ginger.
Stir sauce, pea pods, and turkey or chicken into browning dish.
Cook, covered, on high for 5 to 7 minutes or till heated through, stirring once.
Serve over hot cooked rice.
