Roast Turkey With Celery
|Turkey||4 1⁄2 Pound (2 Kilogram)|
|Celery stick||4 , sliced|
|Onions||2 Small, quartered|
|Butter||1 Ounce (2 Tablespoon, 25 Gram)|
|Streaky bacon rashers||3 (Fat)|
Stuff the turkey with the celery, onion, bay leaves and butter.
Place the turkey, breast down, on a roasting rack and cover with the lid. Cook for 25 minutes.
Turn the bird over, lay the bacon over the breast and cook for a further 25 minutes.
Discard the bacon and wrap the turkey loosely in foil. Let it stand for 10 minutes.
Brown the turkey under a preheated conventional grill (broiler).
