Turkey Sweet Potato Bake
|Cubed cooked turkey||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Cooked turkey stuffing||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Milk||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Black pepper||1 Pinch|
|Cooked sweet potatoes||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||3 Tablespoon, softened|
|Ground nutmeg||1 Pinch|
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. In a mixing bowl, combine the turkey and stuffing, and spread the mixture into a buttered 9"x 9"x 2" baking dish. Beat together the egg, milk, salt, and pepper. Pour evenly over the turkey mixture.
2. Mash the sweet potatoes, blend in 2 tablespoons of the butter, and season with the nutmeg. Spread evenly over the turkey mixture. Dot with the remaining tablespoon of butter.
3. Bake, uncovered, for 25 minutes, or until heated through. Serve with steamed green beans or broccoli, which you can cook while the dish is in the oven.
