8 Ounce (Refrigerated / Italian Flavor, 1 Can, Pillsbury)
1 Cup (16 tbs), crushed
Preheat oven to 350°.
In medium bowl, blend cream cheese and 2 tbs margarine (reserve 1 tbs) until smooth.
Add the next 6 ingredients.
Separate crescent dough into 4 rectangles; press perforations firmly to seal.
Spoon 1/2 c.meat mixture onto center of each rectangle.
Pull 4 corners of dough to top center and twist slightly and seal edges.
Brush tops with reserved 1 tbs margarine, dip in crouton crumbs.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
