Turkey A La King
|Finely chopped green pepper||2 Tablespoon|
|Butter/Margarine||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Pepper||To Taste (Few Grains)|
|Turkey/Chicken broth||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Canned sliced mushrooms||4 Ounce, drained, reserve liquid (1 Can)|
|Grated onion||1 Teaspoon|
|Diced cooked turkey||1 Teaspoon|
|Chopped pimiento||1 Tablespoon|
|Dry sherry||2 Tablespoon|
Cook green pepper in heated butter in a skillet about 3 minutes.
Stir in flour, salt, and pepper; cook until bubbly.
Mix in broth, milk, and mushroom liquid.
Bring to boiling: stir and cook 1 to 2 minutes.
Mix in the onion, turkey, mushrooms, and pimiento; heat thoroughly.
Blend in sherry.
