Fried Turkey

Ingredients
  Fryer turkey 10 Pound, cut in serving sized pieces (2 Birds, 5 Pound Each)
  Seasoned flour 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Shortening 1
  Water 2 Tablespoon
Directions

Coat turkey pieces well with seasoned flour.
Put, skin side down, in a large skillet of heated shortening (about 1/2 inch deep).
Cook, turning to brown evenly on all sides.
Reduce heat, add water, and cover skillet tightly.
Cook slowly 50 to 60 minutes, or until turkey is tender.
Cook uncovered last 10 minutes to crisp skin.
