Suppertime Tuna Melt
|Mayonnaise||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Canned tuna||13 Ounce, drained, flaked|
|Chopped celery||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Minced dill pickle||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Green onions||2 , chopped|
|Shredded cheddar cheese||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
Spread 1 tbsp (15 mL) of the mayonnaise over each pita.
Combine tuna, celery, pickle, onions, remaining mayonnaise, and salt and pepper to taste; spread over pitas.
Sprinkle with cheese, covering as much area as possible.
Broil on baking sheet 4 inches (10 cm) from heat for 3 minutes or until heated through and bubbling.
