Creamed Tuna Royale
|Green pepper||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped|
|Onion||2 Teaspoon, minced|
|Canned sliced mushrooms||3 Ounce, drained (1 Can)|
|All purpose flour||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1 Teaspoon|
|Milk||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
|Canned tuna||7 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Pimiento||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), chopped|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Teaspoon|
|Buttered cooked rice||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
Melt butter in skillet and cook green pepper, onions and mushrooms until tender.
Stir in flour and seasonings; slowly add milk, stirring constantly until smooth and thick.
Add tuna and pimiento.
Heat to simmering and cook about 10 minutes.
Remove from heat and add Worcestershire sauce and lemon juice.
Serve on beds of buttered, hot fluffy rice.
Make 6 servings.
